Coaches vs. Cancer Gala in Center City aims to raise cancer awareness

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Every year, basketball coaches across the Philadelphia area gather to take on a different type of opponent.

The American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer Gala helps raise awareness about cancer and cancer research.

This year's event will honor two legendary local coaches, Phil Martelli and Fran Dunphy.

Action News Reporter Bryanna Gallagher was at the venue in Center City on Saturday night.
