Top 6: Best BYOB restaurants in Philadelphia - Part 3
One way to enjoy a date night on a budget is to check out a BYOB!

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One way to enjoy a date night on a budget is to check out a BYOB. Jessica Boyington sips on some wine and delicious eats in this week's Top 6.

Mawn

In the Bella Vista neighborhood sits MAWN, the very first restaurant for Chef Phila Lorn and his wife Rachel. They affectionately call it, "a noodle house with no rules". Mawn means "chicken" in Cambodian, and although you'll find several chickens on the walls and around the room, on the menu you'll find a mix of mouthwatering Southeast Asian cuisine.

What I loved:

-Cambodian Chili Dip (with crunchy cabbage)

-Night Market Noodles

-Seafood fried rice

-Papaya salad

-Whole Fish (pan-seared, ginger scallion hot oil, fish sauce vinaigrette)

Apricot Stone

Apricot Stone is your ticket to the Mediterranean with menu items from Armenia, to Lebanon, Syria, and beyond. This establishment is owned by an Armenian family and they tell me the kitchen is filled with several Armenian "grandmothers", who are experts in cooking the classics, so come hungry!

What I loved:

-Hummus

-Spanakopita

-Stuffed Grape Leaves

-Kebobs (lamb, chicken, filet, ground beef)

-Baklava
