Action News' Alyana Gomez rides 'The Flash' roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure

JACKSON, TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- They call it 'Great Adventure' for a reason.

Season passholders will be the first to ride Six Flags' newest attraction this weekend.

The Flash: Vertical Velocity is unlike any other ride in the country.

It's billed as the first 'super-boomerang' coaster on the continent, reaching speeds up to 60 miles per hour and climbing 172 feet before a dramatic drop into zero-G.

Action News' Alyana Gomez was at Six Flags in Jackson Township, Ocean County, to take a ride on the new rollercoaster.
