Vigil held for officer killed in line of duty 10 years ago this week

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A vigil was held for a Philadelphia police officer who was killed on the job 10 years ago this week.

Friends and family, along with dozens of fellow officers gathered at Broad and Olney in the city's Logan section where Officer John Pawlowski was shot on February 13th, 2009.

During the vigil, Officer Pawlowski 's widow thanked law enforcement officials for their support and keeping his memory alive.
