PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's muggy with an isolated storm around Sunday before temperatures climb back into the 90s to near 100 degrees as July begins.

TONIGHT: It's muggy with a lingering shower around this evening. Some patchy fog is possible, low 69.

SUNDAY: Clouds, limited sun. It stays muggy with a pop-up shower or storm around, high 83.

MONDAY: Sunshine, few clouds, high 89.

TUESDAY: Clouds mix with sunshine, high 92.

WEDNESDAY: A steamy start to July. It's hot and humid, high 98. Heat index values will likely be over 100 degrees.

THURSDAY: Another very hot day with humidity still elevated, high 99. Heat index values will be over 100 degrees.

FRIDAY: High heat and humidity, high 99. Heat index values will be over 100 degrees. A pop-up thunderstorm can't be ruled out.

SATURDAY (4TH OF JULY): Hot and humid with the threat for thunderstorms later in the day, high 96.
