PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- TODAY: Look for mostly cloudy skies, warm air and oppressive humidity. We'll watch for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms late this morning, then a line of storms will likely hold off until late this evening and tonight. The storm prediction center says we have an isolated chance to see severe weather in Philadelphia, with areas west of the city seeing a better chance for potentially damaging winds. Temperatures will reach 84, but it will feel like it's close to 90 with oppressive humidity.
SATURDAY: Clouds and a lingering shower will give way to bright sunshine and lowering humidity. The high reaches 84.
SUNDAY: Drier air returns to the region, humidity is lowr and we get a much cooler afternoon with a high of 72.
MONDAY: It will feel chilly in the morning with temperatures ranging just from the upper 40s to low 50s. It's mostly sunny with a relatively cool for the first day of June. The high is just 70.
TUESDAY: Sun gives way to increasing clouds. The high is 74.
WEDNESDAY: We'll see increasing clouds, with the chance of a shower or thunderstorm. The high climbs to 77.
THURSDAY: Expect partly sunny skies with the chance of a scattered shower or thunderstorm. The high hits 79.
