Man injured in drive-by shooting in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 59-year-old man is in the hospital after a drive-by shooting in West Philadelphia.

It happened around midnight Thursday at the intersection of 52nd Street and Haverford Avenue.

Police say the man was standing on the corner when he was shot in the hip.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

A dark colored car was seen fleeing from the scene.

Police are checking area surveillance cameras for more information.

No arrests have been made.
