'Not all officers are racist:' African American man's traffic stop video goes viral

A recent video posted by an African American male describing his encounter with a white police officer has gone viral.

Will Stack, 22, is a service member in the National Guard from Columbia, S.C. On April 8, Stack posted a video to Facebook, describing his encounter with a white police officer after he was pulled over for a traffic violation.

Slack admits in the video that he was in violation of the law, and that the officer was correct in pulling him over. "The point of this is to say that I am an African American male, this gentleman was Caucasian. There were no problems. He did his job, I did what I was supposed to do, and that was it," Slack said in the video.

"People need to understand that not all officers are crooked, not all officers are racist, bad people. And not all people who get shot or tazed or arrested by officers are innocent victims," Stack said. "Just because you're black doesn't mean you're a victim, just because you're white doesn't mean you're a racist, just because you're a cop doesn't mean you're a bad person."

The video has received 30,000 likes and 95,000 shares on Facebook, and has received over 400,000 views on YouTube.
