Two people were arrested after a double shooting in Wilmington led to a police pursuit that ended with a crash in Folsom, Pa.

FOLSOM, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two people were arrested after a double shooting in Wilmington led to a police pursuit that ended with a crash in Folsom, Pa.

It all started around 6:00 p.m. Saturday at 2nd and Monroe streets.

Police say a man was shot multiple times and a woman was shot in the foot.

The male victim was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical but stable condition.

The female victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

Authorities say the suspect in the shooting sped off in a vehicle headed northbound on I-95 towards Pennsylvania.

The vehicle then headed northbound on I-476 to MacDade Boulevard to Fairview Road in Folsom, Delaware County, before eventually crashing.

Two suspects were taken into custody and police say a weapon was recovered.

Police in both states are investigating.
