FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- Authorities were called to Wissahickon Park for a possible rescue.

Firefighters received the call at 3:18 p.m. Monday for two people who may have fallen off a cliff.

Officials responded to the area near Lincoln Drive and Ridge Avenue in the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia.

First responders reported special equipment would be needed because the fall happened in a hard to reach area.

They also requested a stretcher, however, it's not clear if this is for precaution or if victims have actually been found.
