Water main break in Wissinoming

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- Crews were called to repair a broken water main in Philadelphia's Wissinoming section.

The call came in around 6:15 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Robbins and Walker streets.

Philadelphia Water Department officials say an 8-inch main fractured.

Crews were able to fix the broken main without disrupting water service to customers.

Road detours are expected in the area for a couple days.
