McCartney's divorce drags on
London, February 18, 2008 McCartney and Mills
separated in 2006 after four years of marriage. Details of their
divorce proceedings have been kept quiet, since the case is being
heard in private and no journalists are allowed.
After the hearing
ends, the judge is expected to take several weeks to consider the
settlement. The terms will not become public unless it is
challenged in appeals court or either of the parties chooses to
reveal details.
Media reports say McCartney has offered Mills about
50 million dollars and she is seeking at least twice that.
