Calling all chocoholics
Norwich, England - April 28, 2008 They need 100 chocolate-lovers willing to eat a chocolate bar everyday for an entire year.
The purpose of the study is serious. They want to find out once and for all whether compounds in chocolate called flavonoids really reduce the risk of heart disease for women with diabetes.
Previous studies have given a thumbs-up to flavonoids, but some experts think the sugar and fat in chocolate cancels out the benefits.
