Both fires had been set in sheds on the properties, and the one on Midland quickly spread to the home. Heavy damage there is estimated at $125,000. There was exterior damage to the home next door. Damage to the shed on Tartan Drive is estimated at $8,000.
Those were the second and third fires officials say are the work of an arsonist. The first, in April, was also set in a shed on South Tartan Drive.
