One more big step for Taliaferro

STATE COLLEGE, PA. (AP) - May 21, 2008 It's been nearly eight years since Taliaferro suffered a severe neck injury while making a tackle at Ohio State. Doctors initially feared he would never walk again. But Taliaferro says he's recovered to the point where, when walking, some people don't know he has an injury.

He graduates from Rutgers School of Law-Camden on Thursday. He plans to start a job in September at a Philadelphia law firm where he has interned.

Taliaferro will be working in Montgomery McCracken's labor and employment division. But he says there's flexibility to pursue opportunities in the firm's sports and entertainment department in the future. That's in line with his interest in becoming a sports agent.
