Police say child denied life-saving medicine

Salem, Ma. - July 2, 2008

Jeremy Fraser,8, of Salem, Massachuesetts is now with his dad. Jeremy was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006. After the initial chemotherapy,police said his mom, 36-year-old Kristen Anne LaBrie canceled follow-up treatments and never picked up some of his essential home medications. The boy's father, Eric Fraser, said he can't explain why. "If I had those answers, this would be a lot easier for me to handle. This is something I am going to take to my grave," he said.

LaBrie has plead not guilty to charges of child endangerment. She also reports after their divorce, the boy's father was routinely a no-show for his visitation time.
