Police say the man was shot at the intersection of 18th and Morris in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section.
It happened at about 1:15 a.m., but the victim died nearly 4 hours later at the hospital.
Investigators had no word about any possible motive or suspects just after 7 a.m.
