The 11-year-old girl signed herself out of school at approximately 5:30 p.m. after cheerleading practice and never returned home.
Family members went to numerous locations where the 11-year-old frequents, but couldn't find her. After numerous attempts to locate Yailiz, the family contacted police.
Police report that at no point during the investigation was foul play suspected, but the police discounted nothing and an all out search effort was conducted.
Then this morning Yailiz arrived at school with her father and stepmother. The girl was not harmed in anyway.
The 11-year-old girl related that she stayed with a friend last night.
