Police were called to the 5800 block of Master Street around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon after the grandmother of the twin boys dialed 9-1-1.
Police learned the boys had been scalded in the bathtub.
While under the care of the 23-year-old fiance of the boys' mother.
He apparently left the children unattended. When he discovered the children hurt, he called the mom, who then called the grandmother of the children.
She came to the house and called 9-1-1.
The fiance fled the scene and remains at large.
The boys were taken to Children's Hospital.
Philadelphia Police Special Victims is investigating.
