Police: Suspect snuck into apt. building

NEWARK, Del. - April 16, 2009 - The incident happened on March 18th at around 3:00 a.m. inside building E of the Ivy Hall Apartments at 400 Wollaston Avenue.

According to investigators, Julian James, 22, got around the security system at the building by following unsuspecting residents or guests inside.

Once in, police say James let himself into an unlocked apartment, and stole $82 worth of frozen food.

Police remind people who live in secure buildings to not allow access to unknown people, and to remind everyone to lock their doors.
