Mom, son charged with assault

TRENTON - May 20, 2009 One of the city workers needed brain surgery to relieve pressure from the blunt force trauma.

Today, lawmen arrested 31-year-old Melvin Johnson and his mother Jennifer, age 47.

They have been charged with the aggravated assault, plus lawmen say they seized heroin, ecstasy and marijuana from their home.
