Car hits patrol car, injures 2 officers

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - June 12, 2009

It happened about 4:10 Friday morning on the 3000 block of North Lee Street near Clearfield Street.

Medics transported the two officers to Temple University Hospital.

The 29-year-old officer has head and neck injuries.

There's no word on the nature of the injuries suffered by the 33-year-old officer.

Both officers are in stable condition.

Their injuries are not considered serious.

The driver of the other car was taken to Episcopal Hospital for evaluation.

Police have not said if any charges will be filed in the case.
