Police: No signs of gunfire in deadly crash in Philly

STRAWBERRY MANSION - July 10, 2009

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Friday on 30th Street and West Segley Avenue.

At first, some witnesses reported hearing gunfire before the driver of an SUV lost control and crashed. However, police investigators at the scene say they found no evidence that any gunshots were fired around the scene at the time of the accident.

The driver died at the scene.

Police are trying to determine if the victim may have been shot prior to the crash.
