3 injured in Upper Merion head on crash

Three people have been seriously injured in a head on crash in Montgomery County. Police say two cars collided around midnight on the 600 block of Crooked Lane in Upper Merion, near the Gulph Mills golf course.

Investigators say the accident occurred when one driver passed over the double yellow lines and crossed into on coming traffic.

All three victims were taken away from the scene by helicopter.

One person went to Temple and the remain two went to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Their conditions have not been released.
