Police: $200,000 burglary at Macy's

NEWARK, Del. - July 15, 2009 State Police say late on June 14th, troopers responded to burglary alarms at the Macy's Department Store in the Christiana Mall.

Responding officers found glass doors on the south entrance were broken out, but did not locate any suspects inside.

When Macy's workers conducted an inventory, they found that the burglars had smashed jewelry cases and made off with about $200,000 in watches.

A photograph of the suspects' vehicle was captured by cameras outside the mall. However, video cameras inside the store did not capture images of the bandit(s).
