Scaffold accident at Taj Mahal

It was a scary sight high up at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.

At around 3:30 p.m. at the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino, three male, three male window washers were finishing up for the day and were preparing to descend from roughly 8-stories up when the wind picked up significantly, resulting in their scaffold swaying back and forth.

The scaffold smashed into the building breaking a few windows.

Fire crews responded and the men were rescued through a window.

One worker suffered a severe hand laceration. The other two were not seriously injured, but were taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
