George Guyer Young, III, of Newtown Square, Pa. has been arrested on multiple charges of theft.
Delaware County District Attorney Mike Green said the thefts happened between November, 2005 and March, 2007.
After Young was disbarred in 2004, the D.A. said Young continued to file $21,000 worth of claims on behalf of estates he had previously represented.
Some of that money was never sent to the rightful heirs. The DA says even though much of it has since been recovered, some of the money remains unaccounted for.
In a statement announcing the arrest, Green urged people to do research on any attorney they hire to handle their estate.
