Officials: UPenn student stabbed, suspect at large

PHILADELPHIA - February 19, 2010

Philadelphia Police tell Action News that they are investigating an incident occurring somewhere between 36th and 39th on Sansom St.

They tell us the victim is a 41-year-old male stabbed with an unknown weapon causing a small puncture wound.

The victim is being treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for superficial wounds and is in stable condition.

The Penn Public Safety Department and Philadelphia Police are canvassing the area in an effort to find the suspect.

There is no description available of the suspect.
