Jury deliberating eastern Pa. murder case

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - April 26, 2010

Luis Alonzo Villatoro is charged with homicide, reckless endangerment and conspiracy to commit murder in the May 11 death of 30-year-old Angel Ramos-Rodriguez.

Villatoro's attorney says his client shot no one and was working as an undercover informant in a probe of 40-year-old Rocky Jimenez, who argued with the victim over the phone and then gathered others to go to the Allentown home. Jimenez pleaded no contest to third-degree murder and conspiracy and was sentenced in March to 20 to 40 years.

Prosecutors say Villatoro wasn't working as an informant but was "a killer trying to be the big man of the block."
