That means in addition to slot machines, gamblers in Delaware can play games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps. Delaware Park began offering table games on Friday.
Another casino in the state, Harrington Raceway and Casino, launched table games last month.
State officials say table games will generate an estimated $40 million in tax dollars off the new games. They hope these new offerings will help casinos in the state remain competitive with places to gamble in other states.
In the region, new slot machine casinos have popped up in Maryland and table games are expected to start at Pennsylvania casinos later this summer.
