1 killed as storm moves through Mich. campground

DETROIT (AP) - June 27, 2010

Sheriff Tim Donnellon says a "massive" storm moved through the Fort Trodd Family Campground in St. Clair County's Clyde Township shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday.

Donnellon is not immediately releasing details about how the person was killed, but says the four others were taken to area hospitals. St. Clair County Emergency Management director Jeff Friedland says their injuries are "not too serious."

Neither official had details about the ages or relationships of the victims.

Several trailers were overturned by strong winds and Donnellon says one was blown into a pond on the campground. No one was in that trailer.
