FBI: The 'mummy bandit' sought for bank robberies

PHILADELPHIA - July 27, 2010

The so-called "mummy" bandit is believed to have robbed at least 5 banks and was seen casing two more recently.

He's been dubbed the "mummy" bandit because he wears bandages on his face and hand.

Robberies:
7/8/09, 2:06 PM, Wachovia Bank, 1700 Market Street, Philadelphia
7/21/09, 1:30 PM, Valley Green Bank, 7226 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia
5/4/10, 2:58 PM, Citizens Bank, 3201 Cheltenham Avenue, Wyncote
5/28/10, 4:00 PM, Citizens Bank, 8616 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia
6/4/10, Sovereign Bank, 800 East Willow Grove Avenue, Wyndmoor

He was sighted in two different Sovereign Banks in the area on 7/20/10.
