Man arrested for Bear, Del. bank robbery

BEAR, Del. - September 17, 2010

Marcus A. Duran, 35, of Tamar Court in Bear was arrested on Thursday afternoon. Police say he was identified from an anonymous tip.

Officers went to his home and took him into custody without incident.

A search of his home revealed some of the money stolen from the Wilmington Trust Bank on Fox Hunt Drive on Wednesday morning, investigators said.

Duran was charged and given $5,000 bail. Police did not know if Duran was able to post bail.

Police say, during the robbery, Duran handed the teller a threatening note but did not display a weapon.
