Power outages persist in Pa. after ice storm

PHILADELPHIA - February 4, 2011

Peco spokeswoman Liz Williamson says only a handful of customers were without power as of Friday morning.

That's out of about 185,000 who lost power as a result of the mid-week storm that coated trees and wires with ice in a broad swatch of Pennsylvania from Harrisburg to the Pocono Mountains.

Williamson says the remaining outages are affecting single customers. Power should be restored to those customers by the end of the day.
