WISSAHICKON - March 3, 2011

Philadelphia police were called at around 11:40 a.m. Thursday to a third floor apartment along the 5100 Rochelle Avenue for the report of a home invasion.

When they arrived, officers were told by the female victim that two men forced their way into her home and stole around $10,000 in cash.

The suspects then fled the apartment, but one of them left his weapon behind.

Authorities say the suspects also got away with 7 cell phones.

The woman shares the apartment with her boyfriend, who was at work at the time of the home invasion.
