The bill also nixes the related crime of contributing to "sexual immorality."
That's providing a place for unmarried people to have sex and was aimed at Frontier-era flophouses.
Senator Kevin Lundberg argued against the bill.
He says repealing the adultery law reduces the Ten Commandments to nine commandments.
The measure now goes to the state House.
