The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011. Police say the suspect used a piece of asphalt to shatter the doors of the Express Food Mart, located in the 700 block of Pulaski Highway in Bear.
The suspect entered the business and took a number of Marlboro and Newport cigarette cartons from display cases, and then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect was last seen wearing a light colored knit hat, light colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark shoes.
