The Action Cam was in Somers Point where the police chase to stop the cruiser ended.
Investigators say it started at 10:30 Wednesday night when a police officer in Margate stopped to help someone on the road. Shortly after he stepped out of his cruiser, a man jumped into it and drove off.
Police pursued the man to Lashley Avenue - a dead end street in Somers Point. There the man was taken into custody.
The suspected cruiser thief was transported to a local hospital for observation, then taken to jail. He faces a number of charges. So far, police have not released his name.
