Woman used stroller like shopping cart

AMBRIDGE, Pa. (AP) - December 28, 2011

Online court records don't list an attorney for 46-year-old Jill Stumpf, of Ambridge, who faces a preliminary hearing Thursday for retail theft. Her listed phone was disconnected Tuesday.

Police in Ambridge say Stumpf filled her coat as well as some baby clothes in the stroller with stolen items at a Rite-Aid Store last Wednesday. Police say a can of soup fell out of the sleeve of a jacket stuffed with merchandise as though a baby was inside.

Acting Chief Jimmy Mann says Stumpf identified herself as "Abracadabra" when she was arrested to which he responded, "Well, my name is Hocus Pocus and you're going to jail."
