Arrest made in Delaware bank robbery

BEAR, Del.- June 20, 2012

According to police Starrett approached a female bank teller and presented her with a demand note for cash.

The note implied that he was armed with a gun, however, no weapon was shown.

The bank teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to him, and then he fled on foot.

Starrett was positively identified after detectives gathered evidence from the TD Bank on the 1000 block of East Songsmith Drive.

Yesterday in Glasgow, Starrett turned himself in .

He was charged with one count of Robbery, 1st degree and arraigned.

Starrett was committed to the Department of Corrections for lack of $25,000 secured bail.
