Pennsylvania State Police say at 12:47 a.m. 52-year-old John Connors of Bristol came through a DUI check point at a high rate of speed
According to police, Connors refused to stop and almost struck five officers.
The check point was located at Route 413 and Rockview Drive in Bristol Township.
Connors led police on a pursuit which ended in a park along Snowden Avenue.
Connors fled on foot and was taken into custody after a struggle.
He was charged with recklessly endangering another person, fleeing or attempting to elude, driving under the influence, possession of small amount of marijuana, and related offenses.
Connors was able to post 10% of his $150,000 bail and has been released.
