It was around 7:00 p.m. on Monday when police were notified of a post in which someone threatened to "shoot up Highland High School."
Police say the post was made by 21-year-old Brandon Worley, a former Highland student, who lives in the 600 block of Tatum Street in West Deptford.
Officers took both Worley and his roommate, 24-year-old Ramon Leon, into custody.
During the investigation, police say they found the two were posting vulgar and inappropriate sexual content to Facebook to see what would and what would not be allowed to appear.
The suspects allegedly told police they were only joking when they made the post about Highland High School.
Both were arrested and charged with 3rd degree False Public Alarms and 3rd degree Terroristic Threats and were sent to Camden County Jail on $35,000 bail.
Highland High School was notified of the threat and extra security measures were taken, police said.
The page involved in the hoax was disabled by the Facebook Legal Department, police said.
