Investigators are trying to determine if a lightning strike caused a fire that tore through a Bucks County home Wednesday night.

Fire crews were called to a home in the unit block of Goldenridge Drive in Levittown just before 9:00 p.m.

Fire officials believe the fire may have started in a first floor bedroom before racing up the wall to the second floor.

The residents were able to get out of the house safely, but at least two people were taken to local hospitals, including a firefighter.

The fire remains under investigation.
