21-year-old Bristol man killed by SEPTA train

BRISTOL, Pa. - April 1, 2013

Bucks County Coroner Dr. Joseph Campbell tells the Bucks County Courier Times that 21-year-old Ryan Hoover was walking with a friend in Bristol when he failed to hear the approaching train.

That happened about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on an elevated section of tracks near the Pennco Tech building.

Hoover is from Bristol.

Authorities say Hoover is at least the fourth person to be fatally struck so far this year by a commuter train in Lower Bucks County.
