SEPTA detours, road closures due to Center City building collapse

Officials are asking people to avoid the perimeter around the collapse at 22nd and Market streets. Avoid 20th to the Schuylkill River, and the Ben Franklin Parkway to Chestnut streets. Google Map of the emergency perimeter. The areas in blue had original been included in the emergency perimeter, but were re-opened at roughly 2:40 p.m.

There are a number of traffic alerts due to the building collapse in Center City Philadelphia.

SEPTA has announced the following detours:

Routes 7, 9, 31, 44, 48, 78, 124, 125: Area perimeter set up northbound/southbound between 21st & 22nd & Market Streets and eastbound/westbound between 21st & 23nd & Market Streets. C

Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 36: Trolleys are bypassing 22nd Street Station in both directions until further notice. Route 34: Trolleys are bypassing 22nd Street Station until further notice in both directions due to police and fire department activity

21st Street to 23rd Street

Market Street to Arch Street

22nd Street from Chestnut to Arch
