Investigation underway after human remains found in Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway after human remains were discovered in Southwest Philadelphia.

Officials say the remains were found inside a construction trailer at the intersection of 51st Street and Grays Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday.

Reports indicate the remains are so decomposed, that investigators are currently unable to determine the person's gender or possible cause of death.
