Dover man charged in death of 1-year-old boy

DOVER, Del. (WPVI) -- A Dover, Delaware man has been charged in the death of a 1-year-old child.

Police say the boy was taken to the hospital on Wednesday with multiple serious injuries to his head and torso, along with internal injuries.

The child died on Thursday.

Twenty-eight-year-old Edjuan Blackshear is charged with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Additional charges are expected.
