Barricade situation after Philadelphia police serve warrant on shooting suspect

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A barricade situation unfolded Friday morning in North Philadelphia.

It began around 9 a.m. on the 400 block of North Opal Street.

According to detectives, they attempted to serve a warrant on a man wanted in connection to a shooting.

They said the man refused to come out of the building.

No further details have been released.
