The decorations are in place, and all day the performers have been busy with final rehearsals on the newly-painted parkway at Eakins Oval.

Parade Operations Manager Debbie Lobeo tells us, "Today's definitely the most hectic day of all. It's when all the last-minute pieces come in. Everything from the fencing getting set up, to the Porta Johns getting set up. Street rehearsals are taking place all day, so we're opening and closing these streets."
Proud parents looked on as hundreds of children from around the region combined as one to make up the youth choir. They went through a final run-through before Thursday's big show.
Wayne James of Avon, Pennsylvania, says, "It takes a lot to do this and these are memories that these kids will have for the rest of their lives."
It's a holiday spectacular, and Wednesday's weather couldn't have been better to make sure the pieces of the parade are all falling right into place.
"The sun's shining," Lobeo said. "We just have a little breeze. The ground is hard. So nothing's sinking. We've been through wind, rain and snow, but, most importantly, it's about Thanksgiving Day itself."
Thursday's weather shouldn't keep you away. But if it does, you can see the broadcast booth is all set so you can watch right in the comfort of your own home.
