This tough grandmother is a force to be reckoned with.

NOVA SCOTIA (WPVI) -- This tough grandmother is a force to be reckoned with.

The 72-year-old heart attack survivor from Nova Scotia has become the fifth black belt in her family.

She had to crack concrete with her hand and smash wooden boards with her feet in order to get the distinction.

But that's not all.

She also had to do one-hundred push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, and squats, all in eight minutes.

She started her Taekwondo journey four-years ago while she was recovering from a heart attack.

She says it's improved her overall health and confidence.
